On December 28, 2011 a new process unit was put into operation at JSC "Slavneft-YANOS", namely FCC Gasoline Hydrotreatment unit with the capacity 800 K TPA. Its purpose is the decrease of sulphur content in gasoline with remaining its high octane number.

The unit consists of nine units connected between each other: five main units (selective hydrogenation, fractionation, hydrodesulphurization, stabilization, amine regeneration) and four auxiliary units. The Licensor of this process is AXENS Company (France), the detailed design contractor was ZAO "Neftechimprojekt" (St.Petersburg). General Contractor for construction was OAO "Promfinstroy".

5.22 billion rubles was allocated for this project financing.

Construction of FCC Gasoline Hydrotreatment unit is an important stage in implementation of revamp and technical reconstruction of JSC "Slavneft-YANOS". In year 2011 construction of Gasoline C5-C6 cuts isomerization unit "Izomalk-2" was completed. These new process operating facilities allowed the sufficient increase of high octane gasolines production: from 2.086MTA in year 2011 up to 2.48 MTA in year 2012.

Beginning from January 2012 all motor gasoline at JSC "Slavneft-YANOS" will be produced in compliance with European standards not lower than Euro-4 grade.
