YANOS increased oil refining in 2018 to 15.7 million tons

At the same time, production of aviation kerosene increased by 35.5% compared to last year and exceeded 1.7 million tons, which allows to occupy a leading position in the industry of production of this type of petroleum products. The redistribution of the grocery basket of an enterprise towards an increase of jet fuel production was carried out in order to more fully meet the demand for it.
Oil production amounted to 309 thousand tons. The range of lubricants has been expanded thanks to new types of products manufactured at the new Group III Base Oils Production Unit. Within a year it produced 100 thousand tons. The unit was commissioned in 2017 in accordance with the state program of import substitution. Its work in the technological scheme of the plant allowed to produce group III base oils according to API specifications, which are used for the production of lubricants that meet modern international specifications and replace imported products.
In addition to group III base oils this unit produces low-viscosity hydrocarbon bases for drilling oil. The new product also successfully replaces similar imported products, the demand for it is steadily growing.
In 2018, the company also produced 2.5 million tons of motor gasoline, more than 3.9 million tons of diesel fuel, 97.9 thousand tons of aromatic hydrocarbons, 482 thousand tons of oil bitumen, 103 thousand tons of liquefied gases.

The new development strategy of JSC “Slavneft-YANOS” assumes further modernization of production capacities in order to increase the refining depth and yield of light petroleum products, also to create the potential to achieve the highest production efficiency indicators.

In 2018 JSC “Slavneft-YANOS” increased its oil refining volume by 1.5% to 15.7 million tons. According to this indicator, YANOS is one of the three largest refineries in Russia. The production of light oil products also increased by 1.5% and amounted to 8.7 million tons.
